Το έργο GreeNET στηρίζεται οικονομικά από την Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος ‘Lifelong Learning Programme’ και 
φιλοδοξεί να συμβάλει αποτελεσματικά στην δημιουργία μίας καθολικής προσέγγισης της περιβαλλοντικής εκπαίδευσης σε ευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, συλλέγοντας καινοτόμες εκπαιδευτικές πρακτικές και σενάρια, σχετικά με την περιβαλλοντική εκπαίδευση και τα πράσινα επαγγέλματα, εμπνέει τη δημιουργία νέων καλών πρακτικών από τους ίδιους τους εκπαιδευτικούς. Ταυτόχρονα, δημιουργεί και εκπαιδεύει ένα Ευρωπαϊκό δίκτυο εκπαιδευτικών μέσα από παιδαγωγικές δράσεις, διαγωνισμούς και επιμορφωτικά σεμινάρια, για να στηρίξει τους Ευρωπαίους εκπαιδευτικούς στην ανάπτυξη των δεξιοτήτων που είναι απαραίτητες για την επιλογή και τη χρήση στην τάξη εξαίρετων πρακτικών και εκπαιδευτικών σεναρίων σχετικών με την περιβαλλοντική εκπαίδευση.

Ο εκπαιδευτικός διαγωνισμός ‘AGRO Web: τα παραδοσιακά προϊόντα της περιοχής μου’ έχει ως στόχο να εμπνεύσει τους μαθητές και να τους ωθήσει να εμπλακούν σε δραστηριότητες που αφορούν στην σύνδεση της αγροτικής παραγωγής και  της επιχειρηματικότητας. (http://agroweb.ea.gr/ )

Summer School : Environmental Education and the World of Work 13-18 July 2014 (organized by Ellinogrmaniki Agogi in the framework of the Eramus+ Programme and is supported by the GreeNET and ENTREDU projects, which are financed by the European Commission)

The Environmental Protection and the World of Work summer school brought together two separate worlds: the environmental protection and the development of competencies and creativity linked to environmental protection. The aim of the course was to address the increasing necessity to develop an integrative approach in environmental sciences and green careers counseling, and thus build a bridge between the academic knowledge and the more practical aspects of entrepreneurship.
