Το έργο μας βραβεύτηκε με την ετικέτα ποιότητας eTwinning! Θερμές ευχαριστίες στέλνουμε στα Σχολεία από την Πορτογαλία που μας προσκάλεσαν στο πρόγραμμα και είχαμε μαζί τους αυτή την εξαιρετική συνεργασία, όπως και με τα υπόλοιπα Σχολεία από τις άλλες χώρες, μέλη του προγράμματος, με τις οποίες είχαμε αλληλεπίδραση! Σχετικά με το πρόγραμμα
Κατά την διάρκεια του σχολικού έτους 2021-2022 με τους μαθητές και τις μαθήτριες από το 4º Δημοτικό Σχολείο Ζωγράφου, στο πλαίσιο της διδασκαλίας των Εικαστικών μαθημάτων, συμμετείχαμε στο εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα eTwinning – συνεργασίας Σχολείων, με τίτλο “Ocean and Antarctica”.
Αυτό το έργο σκοπεύει να γνωρίσει / ερευνήσει το κλίμα, την πανίδα και τη ζωή της Ανταρκτικής ή της Ανταρκτικής ηπείρου. Σκοπός είναι να κατανοήσουμε ότι ο ωκεανός είναι παγκόσμιος και τον ρόλο του στη ρύθμιση του κλίματος του πλανήτη.

During the school year 2021-2022 the pupils of the 4th Primary School of Zografou, Greece and the Art Teacher Theodora Chandrinou collaborate with Schools from Portugal, in the framework of the eTwinning educational project and the fruitful cooperation with the Teacher mrs Paula Maricato.
The project “Ocean and Antarctica” is dedicated to Environmental Education.

Description of The Project
This project intends to know / research the climate, fauna and life of the Antarctic or Antarctic continent. It is intended to understand that the ocean is global and its role in regulating the planet’s climate.
It is intended as a final product to produce a story that reports the history of Antarctica, its explorers and scientific research carried out by Portuguese and Brazilian scientists.
The aim is to create flags for Antarctica, make them available on etwinning and send them to Antarctica.
Aims
– To promote the need to protect the ocean;
– To celebrate National Maritime Day, European Day and World Ocean Day;
– To increase motivation to study the polar sciences;
– To celebrate Antarctica Day;
– To write a collaborative story about Antarctica exploration;-
– To promote the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) in a safe environment;
Work Process
1 – Presentation of the schools by giving a brief description.
2 – Teachers assign their students a username and a password .
3 – Individual presentation of students in the Forum of the eTwinning platform.
4 – During the school year, students will deepen their understanding of the importance that the ocean and Antarctica play in Earth’s climate.
5 – Individually or in groups students create products that the teachers will systematically add (photos and descriptions) to the Twinspace.
6 – Each school organizes exhibitions of flags to Antarctica and develops different Types of works about the ocean.
7 – Each school partner sends handmade products and postcards in the New Year.
8 – The students of the partner schools partners write a common story about Antarctica.
9 – Others activities can be added
Results
– A collaborative book about Antarctica.
– To promote at school a Polar Week – collaborative interview to scientists about their oceanic and Antarctic research.
– To produce flags for Antarctica, and make them available in the etwinning and send them to the scientists who are doing research in Antarctica.

Η ΤΕΧΝΗ ΤΗΣ ΑΝΑΚΥΚΛΩΣΗΣ – RECYCLING THROUGH ART IN THE PROJECT
Η Ελληνική σημαία μας, μέσα από τα έργα των παιδιών, γιορτάστηκε στην Ανταρκτική και ευχαριστούμε θερμά τους επιστήμονες που μας έστειλαν αυτή την πανέμορφη φωτογραφία κρατώντας τις ζωγραφιές μας!
The creations of our pupils and the Greek flag were presented in Antarctica.
The Greek environmental activities that we realized with my pupils through the “Schools 4 the climate” enriched our effort. The scientists mr. M. Santamouris and mr. K. Kartalis also answered qiestions and suggested solutions in the educatioanal Seminar for Teachers that the the “Schools 4 the climate” organized!
Furthermore we collaborated with Environmental Greek Nets and we cultivated the environmental awareness of the pupils. A sample of the activities that we realized was presented through the twinspace project pages and through my blog pages in the Greek School Network digital platform.
All the project aims were fulfilled, with great pleasure and success! We disseminated most of our work in the Greek innovative environmental project that we realized in parallel, as seen below.
Όλοι οι στόχοι του προγράμματος επιτεύχθηκαν με επιτυχία καθώς η συνεργασία ήταν γόνιμη και πολύ δημιουργική!! Η εμπειρία που αποκτήθηκε, από τα παιδιά και όλους τους εκπαιδευτικούς που συμμετείχαμε, ήταν εξαιρετική!!
