International School Award 2015 – 2018
We are very happy to inform you that the 1st Special Education Primary School of Korydallos has been accredited with the British Council International School Award-Full Accreditation, a prestigious international award which recognizes schools that have excelled in the area of international learning. We have linked the work of the Erasmus + European Program “Artemotion Xpress in Europe” funded by IKY with the work of obtaining the International School Prize with great success.
The accreditation has a three year duration, covering the academic years 2015-2016, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018. It is presented to each winning school with a certificate.
The British Council informed us: “Please convey our very best wishes and many CONGRATULATIONS to all staff and students who have taken part in the scheme, on their hard and impressive work. This is a great achievement and one that deserves celebrating and sharing widely!
We hope that your excellent international activities will continue to develop and benefit your students and their families. Your enthusiasm, commitment, creativity and innovative international work is a credit to the school and the wider community!

ISA Accreditation Impact Evaluation
International School Award 2014 – 2015
This year our school, the 1st Special Education Primary School of Koridallos has applied for the British Council’s Full accreditation of the International School Award. Our school is cooperating with Karl-Georg-Haldenwang-Schule which is located in the city Bad Teinach- Zavelstein in Germany and is a special education school for SEN pupils aged 6 to 19 years old. The German coordinator is Ms Heike Eichbauer.
The coordinator Ms Mourelatou Stamoula with the cooperation of the educational staff, has made a detailed report of the activities that will take place in the school and the activities that will be done with the collaboration of our partner school from Germany and submitted the plan of activities which was reviewed and approved. At the end of the year, we will submit the impact evaluation and a full report of our outcomes and objectives.
Our school will be conducting activities concerning Global Themes such as: Fairness and equality, Identity and belonging, Sustainable living. We hope that working towards the International School Award will give our pupils a greater awareness of other cultures and countries and at the same time enhance their personal identity and development.
