An interview by Kostas Karpouzis from Panteion University about AI and the future
“We have been increasingly overwhelmed in recent years by the developments surrounding the achievements of Artificial Intelligence. Whether these concern new applications for the production of written speech, or systems that answer our questions, or an assistant for household tasks, the encroachment of digital technology into our daily lives is already evident, while in the coming years the development of Artificial Intelligence and its effect on humans are expected to concern even more”.

On November 6, the “Day of Pies”. The school smelled of cakes since early morning. Everyone who wanted bought, feasted and was served delicacies baked with love by the teachers, their parents and teachers. It was an opportunity not only to taste great delicacies, but also to share kindness. Stress management

Exams are one of the most important challenges and tests in life, and their results depend not only on preparation, but also on your psychological state, ability to control your emotions and feel good during exams. Stress is usually caused by doubting one’s own strength. Learning how to manage stress increases your self-confidence, as does your ability to overcome challenges more easily.

On October 17, psychologist Evaldas Karmaza met with Joniškis “Aušros” high school students, who reminded them how to distinguish real needs from short-term desires, and drew attention to the importance of daily routine and health-friendly nutrition. After all, sometimes the simplest measures help to focus, overcome excitement and stress. The lecture was interesting, motivating, inspiring to act and search. Thanks!

Cconference “Video game production in Greece” held in Panteion University, Department of Communication, Media & Culture

The conference “Video game production in Greece” (re)poses a basic question about the conditions under which video games are produced in Greece, with the aim of capturing a timeless culture that seems to be developing among game developers and the state and which in the end drags the production process of video games in Greece along in various ways.
Digital games as artifacts and as products of mass consumption, are born and die within a specific socio-political context, which is defined and determined by national and international conditions. This context can not only affect the creative content, but also the production process itself. Under these circumstances the context should not be ignored. The title of the conference, Video game production in Greece, reveals another important parameter, the influence of the global market and transnational policies on the formation of the creative identity of Greek game developers.
The conference will present the results of the post-doctoral research entitled “Digital games and cultural production in the light of national and transnational political practices. The case of Greece”, carried out at the Department of Communication, Media and Culture of Panteion University, and which was funded by the National Agency for State Scholarships under the Act entitled “Strengthening of postdoctoral researchers – 2nd cycle” (MIS5033021).
