Sustainability Conference 2023

Οn Friday 17th Feb 2023, Year 1 students welcomed the public to the Sustainability Conference 2023.
Students presented their own solutions for a more sustainable life and society.

The conference concluded the school’s Sustainability Week. The sustainability conference took place at Fyllingsdalen High School on Friday 17/2 at 12:00.

It was based on the UN’s sustainability goals and Year 1 students have tried to find out for themselves how we can achieve the goals.

They worked on the goals for a week and looked critically at the current practice and described the future as they want it to be.

The school also had guests who inspired the students and we heard exciting and educational lectures from Nature and Youth, the Food Center and activist Martin Skadal.

It’s the third year we’ve had Sustainability Week at school and we think it’s a good way to learn about the curriculum goal Sustainable Development.
