70,000 FPS [Frames/second] can’t even be compared to 150 mph [miles/hour]
If something moves at a relative speed of 150 mph then the object/s would ave moved the distance, D, between two adjecent frames. Where the distance, D, can be calculated through: D= (150/3600) [miles/second] / 70 000 [frames/second] = 150/(3600*70 000)[miles/frame)=5,7E-7.
That is 0,6 micromile per frame which is why the ball looks liquid.
Assuming we’re viewing at 35 frames per second (actually it looks more like a tenth of that, but just to be conservative I’ll call it 35), a 30-second video is 35×30 frames. The time it takes at 70kFPS is 1/70,000 seconds per frame, times 35×30 frames gives you around 3/200 of a second, or around 0.015 seconds. If we’re viewing at closer to 3.5FPS, then it’s more like 1.5 milliseconds. That’s assuming the 70kFPS is true.
