από σήμερα η δωρεάν διάθεση του antivirus της Microsoft

microsoft.jpg Η Microsoft ανακοίνωσε ότι από σήμερα θα αρχίσει η δωρεάν διάθεση του νέου της προγράμματος κατά των ιών «Security Essentials», σε 19 χώρες.

Το πρόγραμμα ήταν διαθέσιμο από τον Ιούνιο σε δοκιμαστική έκδοση (beta), ενώ τώρα πλέον θα διατίθεται στην τελική μορφή του.

Σύμφωνα με την Microsoft, η χρήση του Security Essentials δεν επιβραδύνει τη λειτουργία του υπολογιστή, αν και ενημερώνεται καθημερινά με τα νέα updates κατά των πρόσφατων ιών και άλλων απειλών.

Η εταιρία δήλωσε ότι το πρόγραμμά της δεν έχει σκοπό να «κλέψει» πελάτες από τις άλλες εταιρίες, αλλά να εξυπηρετήσει όσους χρήστες δεν είχαν μέχρι τώρα άλλο πρόγραμμα κατά των ιών.
