Το Τμήμα Πληροφορικής & Τηλεπικοινωνιών του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών διοργανώνει για μαθητές και μαθήτριες Λυκείου παρουσίαση του Τμήματος στο πλαίσιο του θεσμού “Ανοικτές Πύλες” την Πέμπτη, 19 Μαρτίου 2026 και ώρα 09:00-12:00. Το 2ο ΓΕΛ Ωραιοκάστρου ήταν παρόν στο 3o συνέδριο του περιοδικού SCIENTIX της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής στις Βρυξέλλες
Το 3ο συνέδριο του SCIENTIX πραγματοποιήθηκε 4-6 Μαΐου στις Βρυξέλλες και αποτέλεσε ένα από τα σημαντικότερα εκπαιδευτικά γεγονότα της χρονιάς. Το Erasmus+ project “Effects of Human Activities on Natural Disasters” παρουσιάσθηκε στο Φεστιβάλ Περιβαλλοντικής Εκπάιδευσης την Τετάρτη 25/4/2018.\
Η παρουσίαση του προγράμματος έγινε στα πλαίσια της ενημέρωσης των περιβαλλοντικών ομάδων άλλων σχολείων, αλλά και στα πλαίσια της της διάχυσης του προγράμματος. Συνέχεια ανάγνωσης

Την 3η θέση πήρε ο μαθητής του σχολείου μας Λεκοβίτσης Οδυσσέας στους Πανελλήνιους Σχολικούς Αγώνες Αντοχής Ποδηλασίας 100 χλμ. την Τετάρτη 25 Απριλίου 2018 στο Συκούριο Λάρισας. Στους αγώνες συμμετείχαν 37 μαθητές και μαθήτριες.

Μεγάλη επιτυχία απο την Δανάη Κοσμίδου, μαθήτρια της Α’ Λυκείου του σχολείου μας, που συμμετείχε στον διαγωνισμό λογοτεχνίας με κείμενο που διοργάνωσε η Πανελλήνια Ένωση Λογοτεχνών.

Με πολύ ωραίες αναμνήσεις επέστρεψε η περιβαλλοντική μας ομάδα από την τετραήμερη εκπαιδευτική εκδρομή στο «Φιόρο του Λεβάντε», στο λουλούδι της Ανατολής, στην όμορφη Ζάκυνθο δηλαδή, 29 Μαρτίου με 1η Απριλίου του 2018.

Mineral raw materials are crucial for the development of the modern societies, the environmentally friendly technologies and the Hi-Tech industrial products. Without them, there wouldn’t be any smartphones, laptops, or cars. They are extracted from large open pits or underground mines. Greece has a very unique geological history! The subduction of Africa beneath Eurasia is one of the most important geological phenomena in the world accompanied by volcanoes and earthquakes. Volcanoes in Aegean did not bring only disasters. Their action caused numerous mineral deposits, which have been used by the inhabitants since the Prehistoric times. Many Aegean islands were very wealthy thanks to the mineral raw materials. What is an earthquake? Do all earthquakes cause problems? What do we need to do to be prepared to deal with an earthquake?
An earthquake is a natural phenomenon that often affects Greece and other countries on the planet. Most earthquakes that occur in our country do not cause any particular problems, but some are very strong and have an impact on humans and buildings.
The Earthquake Planning and Protection Agency recommends that we be prepared to be able to protect ourselves during an earthquake and also to have the appropriate anti-earthquake behavior after the vibration.
