Για δεύτερη συνεχόμενη χρονιά το 2ο ΓΕΛ Ωραιοκάστρου συμμετέχει στον διαγωνισμό του STEM Discovery Week 2019 που πραγματοποιείται απο τους φορείς Scientix και STEM Alliance, Το σχολείο μας συμμετέχει με δυο δράσεις που υλοποιήθηκαν την χρονιά αυτή.

Ευχαριστήριο του Συλλόγου γονέων του 2ου ΓΕΛ Ωραιοκάστρου για την συνάντηση του Erasmus+ eHAND
Πριν λίγες ημέρες στο σχολείο μας, το 2ο ΓΕΛ Ωραιοκάστρου, φιλοξενήσαμε 44 μαθητές και εκπαιδευτικούς από 6 ευρωπαικές χώρες, την Ιταλία, την Γαλλία, την Ρουμανία, την Εσθονία, την Πορτογαλία και την Τουρκία, στα πλαίσια του ευρωπαικού προγράμματος Erasmus+, eHAND.

Το Erasmus+ project “Effects of Human Activities on Natural Disasters” παρουσιάσθηκε στο Φεστιβάλ Περιβαλλοντικής Εκπάιδευσης την Τετάρτη 25/4/2018.\ Η παρουσίαση του προγράμματος έγινε στα πλαίσια της ενημέρωσης των περιβαλλοντικών ομάδων άλλων σχολείων, αλλά και στα πλαίσια της της διάχυσης του προγράμματος.
