Day 2 of the Greek Erasmus+ meeting ‘Enceladus’
The day started off with the STEM & IBSE classes regarding earthquakes and engineering, taught by Science teacher and Physicist Eftychia Karagianni, and ,Mathematician, Christos Alexakis. The classes included 3 activities and during the whole process a worksheet about the activities had to be completed. A few hours later we set out for the Science Center and Technology Museum ”NOESIS” and we attended 2 CLIL lessons which once again required worksheet completion. The first lesson was named ”Active South Aegean Volcanic Arc and Natural disasters through history” taught by Assistant Professor Alexandros Chatzipetros and the second lesson was named ”Use of Minerals and Rocks in Aegean” taught by Assistant Professor Vasilios Melfos. Remaining in ”NOESIS” we got divided into two groups and visited the ”Nicola Tesla- The Man Who Invented the Future” exhibition. Afterwards we had lunch in Perea beach and then arrived at our final destination, Mediterranean Cosmos Mall were students had the opportunity to shop and relax.
