The children formed pairs and greeted each other in English by saying, “Hello, my friend,” along with their friend’s name.
Then they sat in “little boats” and played together, following the rhythm of an English children’s song, enhancing interpersonal communication, cooperation, and interaction within the group.
Communication Goals
-
To greet and interact in English with their friends.
-
To cooperate with another child through play and shared activities.
-
To recognize and respect their friends’ reactions and choices.
-
To foster positive social interaction and a sense of friendship within the group.
-
Through this activity, children:
-
Learn to communicate with respect and build healthy relationships.
-
Practice cooperation and sharing experiences.
-
Strengthen the sense of group and community.
-
Develop skills of accepting diversity (e.g., greeting and giving space to others).
