1.7 International Thank You Day
We created an e-book and each student had one page to modify it according to their liking and write a “Thank you” note to a special person in their life to whom they feel gratitude.

2.3 Safer Internet Day
Safer Internet Day was an amazing experience for the students! They worked in the computer lab. They chatted online with students of similar age from Italy and introduced themselves and chatted about their likes and dislikes. They participated in a Wordart mentimeter activity (Write a word or adjective you associate with the internet) and together they created this wordcloud:
After the 20 minute communication session, the students were shown a presentation on e-Safety Rules and after that, they played a kahoot game to check their knowledge about these e-Safety Rules. They competed for a position on the leader board and had a lot of fun!
2.4 Valentine’s Day: We created a recipe for “Friendship Soup”
On the 14th of February, we celebrate love. Love is expressed in many ways. Friendship is one of them. There are some very important “ingredients” in friendships. Let’s make a “Friendship Soup Recipe”!
Why soup you might ask? Well… soup is like friendship in many ways; it’s good for us, it warms us up on the inside, it’s soothing when we don’t feel well, it’s full of nutrients which are good and healthy for us just like friendship is good for us! And everyone can make it, it’s easy!
This is our “Friendship Soup Recipe” We created it together in class. It was uploaded in the TwinSpace of our project.

The students were also given a photocopy of a similar worksheet to create their personal recipe for friendship at home.

Result:
Use your imagination and create a digital invitation. Be careful to use free images from Free Clipart Library.
You can also try to make it on Canva for example

Adjective or Adverb? Do this exercise online and check your answers
The verbs – appear, be, become, feel, get, go, grow, look, prove, remain, seem, smell, sound, stay, taste, turn are often followed by adjectives instead of adverbs. In these sentences the adjective describes the subject of the sentence and not the verb which is why an adverb is not possible.
