Data protection, e-Safety and copywright
Data protection, e-Safety and copywright issues are very important and students should always be informed and reminded of these rules and every eTwinning project is an opportunity for these rules to be presented and discussed. The following link is a presentation of the basic e-Safety, copywright and data protection rules. It is designed for students aged between 10 and 14. It was shared in the TwinSpace for the partner countries to read and participate in the activity.
The students read the rules carefully, then, played the kahoot game at the end of the presentation to see how well they learnt the rules to protect themselves online.
The students of Greece and of France played the kahoot game after watching the e-Safety presentation, and these are the winners:
“The Study of Muggle Life” (Greece/France/Spain)
Young “wizards” must study and learn the cultural characteristics of “Muggle” life to be able to blend in successfully when they are visiting that country. In this book they will study the strange superstitions, national celebrations and festivals, the Dos and Don’ts (etiquette) and traditional “muggle” food of Greece, France and Spain. The e-book is collaboratively written by international groups of students who are members of the eTwinning project “The Wizard’s Tournament 2020 – 2023”.
The purpose of the e-book is to develop intercultural awareness among students of different countries in order to promote acceptance and understanding of our cultural diversity and value our similarities and differences. This combats prejudice and conflicts and leads to more cultural connections and successful future interactions.
Uniform Day
The students were asked to dress up in their special Wizard’s uniform according to their “House” colours and come to school. They had a lot of fun and these are their uniforms:
