“Countdown to the Tokyo Olympics 2021” eTwinning project

The students and the teachers worked hard throughout the year despite lockdowns because of covid-19.  Our e Twinning project continued and proudly we can present the results of our hard work. The ebook was created by the Arsakeio High School and their teacher Katerina Kyriakidou and includes all of our  work on Climate Change and how it affects the Olympic Games. There are also activities which were done collaboratively.

Our Collaborative ebook

Our work was first displayed in our Class Magazine in Schoolpress “The Burning Issue- Climate Change” and then it was added in the above collaborative book.                              Screenshot 2 2

The next area the students worked on was Japan. Japan is the host for the Olympic Games in 2021 and Tokyo is the host city. The students then researched information about Japan and we created a collaborative e-Magazine to present our work.  You can see it here:

The Christmas Truce 1914

Στ’

This is the true story of a spontaneous truce which happened at the front line, in the trenches of World War 1. It shows us how powerful the message of the birth of Jesus Christ is. It is so powerful, that it can stop a war and unite enemies, even if it is just for one day; Christmas Day. It reminds us all, of what it means to be human, the values that we all share and hold dear to us. The things that unite us all are more than the things that divide us.
