When we start a cooperative project with other schools, most of the times we are enthusiastic, our pupils but teachers too, about meeting new people, seeing new places and acquiring new experiences. As time goes by, we get involved, get to know each other better and start feeling that we are committed to our common project… to make it grow and shine, to obtain an identity and to be complete. When our partners in the project feel the same , then it is really happy moment because we can make our hope and aspiration true!
It was a real happy moment for me , my pupils and all the school to see that all the work we did last year was awarded with National and European Quality Labels, which is concrete recognition of the high level of our eTwinning activities. It so satisfying to see that the work we do in our class deserves an extra credit and ….gets it!
In the 8th Primary School of Pyrgos except for the eTwinning project “Pen friends” which encouraged our students to exchange letters with pupils from Finland and Spain, we did four more eTwinning projects which got a National Quality Label
The European School Radio
Animals of the world
The European Schools Newspaper
The Mythic and Mysterious Figures, which got a European Quality Label as well
In the 1st Primary School of Pyrgos my lovely 5th graders participated in two eTwinning projects. We worked on a National eTwinning project against bullying which was awarded with a National Quality Label.
They also became …Ambassadors with the project Postage Stamps -Small Ambassadors. Our work was awarded both a National and a European Quality Label
