The basis for the project “The Mythic and Mysterious Figures” was ancient Greek mythology, mythical characters and heroes of tales and legends. The pupils of the sixth grade of the 8th Primary School of Pyrgos participated in the project together with schools from the Czech Republic, Poland and Ukraine.
Based on the mythical characters and the heroes of the legends they created paintings, presentations, descriptions, questionnaires, quizzes and a multimedia multilingual dictionary. Through cooperation with the other pupils taking part in the programme they broadened their knowledge as well as their social and communicative skills and strengthened their feeling of trust in themselves. Finally, they improved their culture of mind and creativity.
