Exchange of opinions, knowledge and small gifts, practice of the English Language and broader intellectual horizons and knowledge are some of the benefits experienced by the students of 8th Primary School of Pyrgos thanks to the project “Penfriends”
The students of the 5th and 6th grade decided to use an old, traditional and cherished way of communication, pen pal letters, adapting it to the new conditions offered by technology. They cooperated with students from Spain and Finland, exchanged correspondence letters, enriched their knowledge and experiences, created bonds of friendship and shared beautiful emotions while writing their letters, when receiving the answer to their letter, during their skype meeting and during all the activities of the program.
They explored learning beyond textbooks and the walls of their classroom and dreamed of a world of peace and love.
