and Understand Fast English Conversations
Δημήτρης Λ.
Dimitris Toothwell was determined to speak English confidently, even at the dentist. As he sat in the chair, the dentist smiled and asked, “How are you today?” Dimitris grinned back, “I’m great, thanks! But I hope you’re not planning on using that giant needle on me!”
The dentist chuckled and said, “It’s not as scary as it looks!”
Dimitris, trying to stay calm, replied, “Well, I’m hoping my teeth don’t start talking during this visit. They tend to say the most embarrassing things!”
As the tools came out, Dimitris’s eyes grew wide. “Please don’t put that drill in my mouth!” he said, his voice cracking.
The dentist reassured him, “Don’t worry, I’m very gentle. You’ll leave here with a sparkling smile!”
After the appointment, Dimitris sat up with a big, relieved smile and said, “Thanks for not turning me into a toothless wonder! I’ll make sure to tell my friends that dentists are actually cool—just… a little scary sometimes.”
The dentist laughed and said, “You were great, Dimitris. And remember, if you keep speaking English so confidently, we might just put you in charge of our next dental conference!”
Dimitris left the clinic with a bright smile, a little less fear, and a newfound confidence—ready to speak English about anything, even dentists! 😄🦷
