To celebrate this year’s European Day of Languages, which was on September 26, I thought the students could create bookmarks, for use in the library and at home. And, behold! What great inspiration these children had! The phrase “Ας διαβάσουμε μαζί!” in Greek was also written in English -“Let’s read together”- as well as in French -“Lisons ensemble”. The fun fact is, that more than a month later, I see the students using their bookmars, and it really gives me joy!
