Το μάθημα των Αγγλικών αποτέλεσε πηγή έμπνευσης για τους μαθητές του Α1, οι οποίοι εργάστηκαν ομαδικά στα πλαίσια ενός project για το περιβάλλον και κατέληξαν στην σύνταξη ενός ενημερωτικού φυλλαδίου (leaflet), το οποίο παροτρύνει όλους μας να ‘κάνουμε τη διαφορά’! Enjoy!

Pollution is a global threat. One of the most serious problems associates with our health. More and more people every day are developing asthma andcancer. Because of the pollution the whole planet might soon be destroyed! In order to protect the Earth we must “Go Green”. Below, we suggest some ideas for a better and safer future!!

DO YOU RESPECT THE
ENVIRONMENT??

ENERGY & POLLUTION
- By planting trees carbon dioxide is absorbed, while oxygen is exuded in the atmosphere.
- When you go out, you should ride your bike, use media transfer or walk.
- A good idea is to use solar energy instead of oil to heat our homes and water.
- We must turn off the lights when we go out of a room.
- Why don’t we, alternatively, use more environmentally-friendly sprays and detergents?
- We must clean up the beaches, parks and cities.

ANIMALS & PLANTS
- We must protect animals, especially the endangered ones.
- Let’s go on a “planting spree”!!
- Zoos and circuses mustn’t take advantage of animals.
- We mustn’t pick up flowers from private and public places.
- We mustn’t cut down trees.

RECYCLING
- We must drop litter in the bin.
- We must sort paper, glass, plastic and aluminum from other rubbish.
- We can take a large paper or textile bag when we go shopping.
- We can recycle electrical appliances and batteries.
