Gymnasio Gennadiou Erasmus”Best European Experiences: from “me” school to “we” school”
Κατά το χρονικό διάστημα μεταξύ 8 και 10 Δεκεμβρίου 2025 πραγματοποιήθηκε στην πόλη Joniškis της Λιθουανίας η 2η συνάντηση εργασίας (TPM) της δράσης “Best European Experiences: from “me” school to “we” school” – 2024-1-ES01-KA220-SCH-00024342 που χρηματοδοτείται από την Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή μέσω του προγράμματος Erasmus+.
Στη συνάντηση μετείχαν από οκτώ χώρες-εταίρους (Ισπανία, Πορτογαλία, Ελλάδα, Κύπρο, Ιταλία, Σερβία, Λιθουανία και Ρουμανία) διαμορφώνοντας το ιδανικό πλαίσιο για ανταλλαγή εμπειριών, προβληματισμό και κατάθεση προτάσεων για τον τομέα της συμπεριληπτικής εκπαίδευσης. Το Γυμνάσιο – Λ.Τ. Γενναδίου συμμετείχε με τις εκπαιδευτικούς Ηλιάνα Γιαννούση και Αλεξάνδρα Κολοκύθα.
Erasmus Gymnasio Gennadiou “Artificial Intelligence” AI4ESL
Η πορεία του σχεδίου «Artificial Intelligence for Early School Leaving» AI4ESL με κωδικό 2021-1-MT01-KA220-SCH-000024247 στο οποίο το Γυμνάσιο Γενναδίου Ρόδου συμμετέχει ως εταίρος συνεχίζεται με επιτυχία. Έχουν ήδη πραγματοποιηθεί δύο Διεθνικές Συναντήσεις, μία στην Ισπανία και μία στην Μάλτα.
Οι συναντήσεις μελέτησαν την έννοια της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης, τη ραγδαία εξέλιξή της και τη θέση της στο εκπαιδευτικό σύστημα της κάθε χώρας. Παράλληλα έγιναν παρουσιάσεις για τη μαθητική διαρροή, τις πιθανές αιτίες και τα μέτρα αντιμετώπισης από τα σχολεία εταίρους. Η σύγκριση ανέδειξε σημαντικές διαφορές αλλά και πολλές ομοιότητες.

Gymnasio Gennadiou “Steam and Robotics” Visit to Greece
Gymnasio Gennadiou hosted the participants for the project from Bulgaria, Italy, Lithuania and Croatia. The students were placed in the families of the host students, which rounded up their learning experience. During the week, the hosts organised a variety of activities related to the project theme of robotics, as well as introductions to the cultural heritage of the island of Rhodes. Erasmus Artificial Intelligence AI4ESL
Το Γυμνάσιο Γενναδίου Ρόδου συμμετέχει ως εταίρος στο σχέδιο με τίτλο «Artificial Intelligence for Early School Leaving» AI4ESL και κωδικό 2021-1-MT01-KA220-SCH-000024247. Συντονιστής είναι ο οργανισμός B&P Emerging Technologies Consultancy Lab Ltd από την Μάλτα.
Συμμετέχουν επίσης εταίροι σχολεία από τη Σερβία, την Ιρλανδία, την Ισπανία και τη Φιλανδία.

Gymnasio Gennadiou Erasmus KA229 “STEAM and Robotics: a new learning approach”
This school year Gymnasio Gennadiou entered Erasmus+ KA229 project “STEAM and Robotics: a new learning approach”. The project coordinator is Italy, and the partners are from Lithuania, Greece, Bulgaria and Croatia. The project duration is 24 months (September 2020 to September 2022).
The project focuses on the development of so-called “STEAM Skills” (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) in students. Project activities promote an interdisciplinary approach, which includes disciplines such as computing, mathematics and natural sciences using robotics as a tool to help students develop skills in computational thinking and problem solving. The idea of the “Art and Interculturalism” project was to highlight the importance of all peoples in terms of cultural expression and to emphasize to children from other countries that the culture of the country they left is as important as the culture of the country they live in.
The plan addressed the horizontal priority of inclusion and diversity, because it highlights the cultural identity of all people, and strengthens their pride in their origins.
It is a partnership of schools with a high percentage of pupils from different cultural backgrounds. It includes the Esperino Gymnasio Rodou with 60% of foreigners, mainly first-generation refugees and immigrants, the Gymnasio Gennadiou Rodou with 60% mainly children of economic migrants and the Agrupamento de Escolas de São João da Talha in Portugal with 50% of first and second generation foreign students. Gymnasio Gennadiou ‘Steam and Robotics” Visit to Italy
First mobility of students and teachers as part of the Erasmus+ project KA229 “STEAM and Robotics: a new learning approach” was held in Reggio Calabria, from 26 September to 3 October 2021.Project activities on the first mobility in the IIS “Boccioni-Fermi” secondary school in Reggio Calabria started with the presentation of the partner countries, educational systems and schools participating in the project. The students participated in various workshops dedicated to IT and mathematical skills (programming, video editing, GeoGebra), and the last day was dedicated to the evaluation.
In addition to the educational programme, cultural activities were organised which included excursions to Scilla, a picturesque village near Reggio Calabria
