European population is growing older, the society is facing different challenges like physical and mental health of older people as well as the active participation of them in social life and society in general. The social services of the town halls, medical services, universities, old people associations and governments are making a lot of effort to keep older people fit and a lot of sports programmes and PE parks are being caring out and lots of old people get benefit from them.

The last century and the mainly in the last decades average life expectancy in Europe has increased, the European Union population is ageing and we may conclude that this process is probably set to accelerate in the future. The idea of the “Art and Interculturalism” project was to highlight the importance of all peoples in terms of cultural expression and to emphasize to children from other countries that the culture of the country they left is as important as the culture of the country they live in.

The plan addressed the horizontal priority of inclusion and diversity, because it highlights the cultural identity of all people, and strengthens their pride in their origins.

It is a partnership of schools with a high percentage of pupils from different cultural backgrounds. It includes the Esperino Gymnasio Rodou with 60% of foreigners, mainly first-generation refugees and immigrants, the Gymnasio Gennadiou Rodou with 60% mainly children of economic migrants and the Agrupamento de Escolas de São João da Talha in Portugal with 50% of first and second generation foreign students. Results

1) A practical and innovative Toolkit, a powerful tool answering the needs of target group and stakeholders of developing their skills on how exploit the full potential of Gamification, including multimedia solutions, common challenges, successful approaches and setting out a range of channels for basic skills delivery as well as tools to identify such channels and programmes that may exist already. An inclusive and tailor-made Toolkit about teaching and learning methods, including learning support for struggling adult learners and containing a range of implementation tools.

2) Policy Recommendations regarding the reinforcing of adult and non formal education answering to the main challenges of today’s world taking into account a context marked by rapid technological changes, healthy ageing over the life-course, supportive environments.
