4th GEL Erasmus «STEM&GAMES: STEM and Gaming Aims for a Meaningful Educational Success»
The fourth meeting for the project «STEM&GAMES: STEM and Gaming Aims for a Meaningful Educational Success» (2021-1-ES01-KA220-SCH-000031544), KA220 – Strategic Partnerships for School Education was held in Istituto Istruzione Superiore “P. Mazzone” in Roccella Ionica from 8 to 12 May 2023.

ΕΦΑΡΜΟΓΗ ΤΟΥ ΕΡΓΑΛΕΙΟΥ THINGLINK ΣΤΟ ΜΑΘΗΜΑ ΤΗΣ ΝΕΟΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗΣ ΓΛΩΣΣΑΣ ΚΑΙ ΤΗΣ ΙΣΤΟΡΙΑΣ Α΄ ΛΥΚΕΙΟΥ, 4ο Λύκειο

Στο πλαίσιο των επιμορφωτικών βιωματικών σεμιναρίων Erasmus που έλαβαν χώρα στη Λισσαβώνα της Πορτογαλίας (σχολικό συγκρότημα «Agrupamento de Escolas de S. João da Talha») και στην πόλη Turnhout του Βελγίου (σχολικό συγκρότημα CVO Taxandria) κατά τα έτη 2015 και 2016 αντιστοίχως, οι συμμετέχοντες είχαν την ευκαιρία να ενημερωθούν και να ευαισθητοποιηθούν σε θέματα χρήσης των νέων τεχνολογιών κατά την εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία. Πληροφορήθηκαν και εστίασαν σε παραδείγματα καλών εκπαιδευτικών πρακτικών, με τη χρήση του διαδικτύου και συνειδητοποίησαν τη συμβολή των ΤΠΕ στη βελτίωση του καθημερινού διδακτικού περιβάλλοντος. Οι εκπαιδευόμενοι εξοικειώθηκαν επίσης με τη συνεργατική διδασκαλία και μάθηση υποστηριζόμενη από Η/Υ. Ένας από τους στόχους του προγράμματος ήταν και η διάχυση των αποτελεσμάτων του στη σχολική κοινότητα και η εφαρμογή των καλών πρακτικών του εξωτερικού στη διδακτική πράξη.
Κατά την παραμονή στα προαναφερθέντα σχολικά συγκροτήματα διαπιστώθηκε ότι οι εκπαιδευτικοί των αντίστοιχων χωρών αντιμετωπίζουν παρόμοιες προκλήσεις με τους εκπαιδευτικούς της χώρας μας, δηλαδή μεγάλους αριθμούς μαθητών με ετερογενείς ομάδες μάθησης. Προκειμένου να ανταπεξέλθουν στις νέες προκλήσεις οι εκπαιδευτικοί ως διαμεσολαβητές πλέον της γνώσης, εφαρμόζουν τη διαφοροποιημένη διδασκαλία σε όλα τα στάδια της εκπαιδευτικής πράξης κάνοντας ευρεία χρήση των νέων τεχνολογιών.
4th GEL Rodou Visiting CERN
35 students and 3 teachers from 4th Lyceum of Rhodes visited the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Switzerland. The visit took place the 14th of December 2015. All students participated in a school project about science and were well prepared about the structure of matter, the nuclear research and physics concerning energy.
4th GEL Rodou “MANAGEMENT of DISASTER VICTIMS”
6th International Congress “MANAGEMENT of DISASTER VICTIMS”
32 students and their teacher Filippaki Lina participated in the 6th International Congress “Management of Disaster Victims” that took place in Rhodes 8-12 October 2016. They were all volunteers acting as disaster victims and accepting medical health from medical students, nurses and doctors. It was an excellent experience for everyone!!

Science Escape Room 4th GEL Rodou
On Monday the 3rd of October the 4th Lyceum of Rhodes organised a Science Escape Room for students. Separated in small groups students had to solve riddles based on Physics, Chemistry and Biology, in order to find the key and unlock the door of the science lab. There was plenty of enthousiasm and everyone agreed on how interesting and amusing school science could be.
3rd National Sports Day at 4th Lyceum
3rd National Sports Day
Teachers and students enjoyed sports on Monday the 3rd of October 2016 during the 3rd National Sports School Day. Many volunteers spent the day in our school showing students many interesting and unusual sport activities, such us yoga, floorball, aerobic dance etc.
The theme of the day was “enjoy sports without being afraid of failure”
