APRIL: Teamwork and Coding
- Dividing the class into two groups to complete joint tasks

The class is divided into 2 groups.
Each group is given a name:
🔴 Red Team
🔵 Blue Team - 2. Introduction with a Treasure Story
- “Today, there is a hidden treasure in our classroom! But to reach the treasure, we need to solve the codes correctly…”
- 👉 This helps increase children’s interest and motivation
- 3. Preparing Code Cards
- Prepared in advance:
⬆️ Move forward
⬅️ Turn left
➡️ Turn right
⏸️ Stop
🔍 Search - 👉 The cards should be visual (with arrows and symbols)
- Designing coding games such as treasure hunts with clue cards for navigation
- Joint online meeting where students show their coding games to each other
Πρώτα φτιάχτηκε το ματ…το χαλί!
First, the mat—the carpet—was prepared!
Τα παιδιά χωρίστηκαν σε 2 ομάδες με τυχαίο τρόπο …. την κόκκινη και την μπλε.
Αφού μοιράστηκαν οι ρόλοι στα μέλη των ομάδων (παιδί -ρομπότ, προγραμματιστής, ελεγκτής, υπεύθυνος για τα βελάκια, υπεύθυνοι για το άνοιγμα του θησαυρού κλπ) το παιχνίδι προγραμματισμού ξεκίνησε!
Οι οδηγίες ήταν απλές: Το παιδί-ρομπότ πρέπει να περάσει και από τα 5 τετράγωνα στο χρώμα της ομάδας του, ξεπερνώντας το εμπόδιο που υπάρχει στη διαδρομή (φωτιά για την κόκκινη ομάδα, καταρράκτης για την μπλε ομάδα) περπατώντας μόνον στα τετράγωνα με το χρώμα της ομάδας του και τα λευκά τετράγωνα!
The children were randomly divided into two teams: the Red Team and the Blue Team.
Once roles were assigned to each team member (child-robot, programmer, controller, arrow manager, treasure openers, etc.), the programming game began!
The instructions were simple:

The child-robot must pass through all 5 squares of their team’s color.

They must overcome the obstacle along the way (fire for the Red Team, a waterfall for the Blue Team).

They are allowed to step only on squares of their team’s color and on the white squares!
Πρώτα σκέφτηκαν την διαδρομή, μετά έβαλαν τα βελάκια, έγινε ο έλεγχος, στη συνέχεια προγραμματίστηκε το ρομπότ και έφτασε στο θησαυρό!
First, the children planned the route, then they placed the arrows, and the code was verified. Next, the robot was programmed and successfully reached the treasure!
Οι υπεύθυνοι είδαν πως ο θησαυρός ήταν ένα περίεργο ανοιξιάτικο αλφάβητο για την μια ομάδα και ένα μήνυμα με μερικές γραμμές από ανοιξιάτικα εικονίδια για την άλλη ομάδα και τα δύο από δύο φορές…
The team leaders discovered that the treasure consisted of a curious spring alphabet for one team and a message made of rows of spring icons for the other team—with two copies of each!
έτσι μοιράστηκαν τα ευρήματα και άρχισαν να αποκρυπτογραφούν το μήνυμα!
So, the findings were distributed, and they began decrypting the message!
Ο Έλεγχος έγινε με τη βοήθεια του εκτυπωμένου μηνύματος στο ελληνικό αλφάβητο.
The verification was carried out with the help of the printed message in the Greek alphabet.
Στη συνέχεια έγινε προσπάθεια να διαβαστεί το μήνυμα με τη βοήθεια και της εκπαιδευτικού.

‘Ετσι όλοι κατευθύνθηκαν στην αυλή και έψαχναν πίσω από κάθε δέντρο! Τελικά η Μελίνα εντόπισε ένα κραφτ κουτί που όμως δεν ήταν σίγουρη αν αυτός ήταν ο θησαυρός…
Next, an attempt was made to read the message with the teacher’s assistance.
The message was:

So, everyone headed out to the yard and searched behind every single tree! Finally, Melina spotted a kraft paper box, but she wasn’t quite sure if this was the treasure…
Το κουτί μεταφέρθηκε στην τάξη και μέσα είχε δυο σακούλες…μία μπλε και μια κόκκινη!
The box was brought back to the classroom, and inside were two bags… a blue one and a red one!
Μέσα σε κάθε σακούλα είχε ένα σακουλάκι με τόσα μπαλόνια όσα και τα μέλη της κάθε ομάδας που για τα κερδίσουν έπρεπε να φτιάξουν με τα 10 τουβλάκια lego που υπήρχαν σε κάθε σακούλα ότι έδειχνε το ασπρόμαυρο σχέδιο (ένα λουλούδι για την κόκκινη ομάδα και ένα δέντρο για την μπλε ομάδα)! Τα παιδιά συνεργάστηκαν και τα κατάφεραν! Τις κατασκευές τους τις τοποθέτησαν σε μια βάση και τα θαύμαζαν!
Inside each bag was a smaller pouch containing as many balloons as there were team members. To win them, the children had to use the 10 LEGO bricks found in each bag to build what was shown on a black-and-white blueprint (a flower for the Red Team and a tree for the Blue Team)!
The children worked together and succeeded! They placed their creations on a base and admired them!
Τότε ήρθε η ώρα για την επιβράβευση … που ήταν τα μπαλόνια!
Then, it was time for the reward… which was the balloons!
