Τους μαθητές και εκπαιδευτικούς των σχολείων από τη Φιλανδία, την Ισλανδία, τη Σλοβακία, την Ιταλία, την Κροατία, την Ισπανία και την Τουρκία, θα υποδεχθεί αύριο Κυριακή το σχολείο μας, στα πλαίσια της Στρατηγικής Σύμπραξης Erasmus +  με θέμα «WAY TO GO–paths of life».

Από τη Δευτέρα 18 Απριλίου έως την Παρασκευή 22 Απριλίου, θα πραγματοποιηθεί η δεύτερη κινητικότητα μαθητών του προγράμματος στο σχολείο μας.

 Το πρόγραμμα συνεργασίας και φιλοξενίας των 40 μαθητών και 20 εκπαιδευτικών από τις παραπάνω χώρες, περιλαμβάνει  δραστηριότητες στο σχολείο όπως παρουσίαση της ιστορίας της κάθε χώρας, θεατρικά παιχνίδια γνωριμίας και δρώμενα, παρουσίαση παραδοσιακών χορών, εργαστήρια χειροτεχνίας, διαδραστικά παιχνίδια γνώσεων (kahoot).

Επίσης, επίσκεψη στο Κατάκολο όπου θα πραγματοποιηθεί επίσκεψη στο Μουσείο Αρχαίας Ελληνικής Τεχνολογίας, θα γίνει παρουσίαση παραδοσιακών παιχνιδιών της κάθε χώρας, δραστηριότητες στο «Μονοπάτι της Φύσης» καθώς και δραστηριότητα  Geocaching.

Επιπλέον θα πραγματοποιηθεί επίσκεψη στο Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο της Ολυμπίας, περιήγηση στον αρχαιολογικό χώρο με τη χρήση QR-codes, αναβίωση αρχαίων ελληνικών αθλημάτων και παρακολούθηση της Πρόβας της Τελετής της Αφής της Ολυμπιακής Φλόγας.

Επίσκεψη στην Αρχαία Ήλιδα και στο Κάστρο Χλεμούτσι. Επίσης, περιήγηση στα σημαντικότερα μνημεία της πόλης του Πύργου, επίσκεψη στο Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Πύργου και στο Ναό του Αγίου Αθανασίου, καθώς και παρουσίαση ταινιών από το Ετήσιο Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Ολυμπίας για Παιδιά και Νέους στο κτήριο της Νομαρχίας,  όπου οι μαθητές μας θα επιδώσουν ψήφισμα στα   πλαίσια της Ολυμπιακής Εκεχειρίας.

Ο αποχαιρετισμός των  εταίρων θα γίνει την Παρασκευή 22 Απριλίου  σε εκδήλωση που θα διοργανωθεί στο σχολείο μας, όπου θα δοθεί παράσταση του Θεάτρου Σκιών «Καραγκιόζης» , θα παρουσιαστούν κοινά Ελληνικά και Τούρκικα Τραγούδια  και κοινοί Ελληνικοί και Τούρκικοι Χοροί  καθώς επίσης και  παραδοσιακοί χοροί και τραγούδια από την κάθε χώρα.

Travel Diary in Greece

Monday 18th April, 2016

Αt the welcome ceremony guest school teams introduced  themselves and videos on historical sights of each country were presented. Icebreaking theatrical games followed in the school yard and then students separated in groups played Kahoot games on the video presentations. Art and Craft workshops based on Greek Easter traditions were carried out. Finally, a hearty lunch prepared by host parents was offered to students and teachers.

Host and guest students accompanied by teachers hiked to Katakolo Hill. There, our nature activity path included the presentation of typical games of each country. A visit to the museum of Ancient Greek Technology as well as a Geocaching activity followed near Katakolo port. In the evening awarded films made by adults from Olympia Annual International Film Festival for Children and Young People were shown at the Apollo theatre.

At Ancient Olympia we went on a guided tour at the new museum and then we attended the final rehearsal of the Olympic flame lighting ceremony. A tour around the archaeological site with the use of a map with QR codes was also taken and students competed in a race at the archaeological stadium.

Thursday 21st April, 2016

The archaeological museum of Ancient Ilida(The organizing city of ancient Olympic games) as well as the ancient theatre were visited. The medieval castle of Chlemoutsi was the next destination. In the evening, teachers, students and host parents enjoyed themselves listening to live Greek music and dancing.

Friday 22nd April, 2016

In the morning school teams went sightseeing around Pyrgos. The sights that were visited were the Apollo theatre, Agios Athanasios’ church and the Archaeological Museum. At the Prefecture Hall there was a presentation of awarded films made by children from Olympia Annual International Film Festival for Children and Young People. The 1^st Gymnasio of Pyrgos presented a resolution on World Peace and Olympic Truce and it was signed by all school delegations. In the evening, a Greek shadow theatre Karagoz performance was presented as well as common Greek Turkish songs and dances. Traditional songs and dances of each country were also performed.
