They also decided to make a poster and an invitation to invite their classmates and the teachers to the Easter customs event they’re organizing next Friday.
The Pinocchio Board Game

- Yippee!
- Give me the dice, please.

Then, they decided to lend it to the pupils of the C’ class of the 1st Primary School and spread some fun over there, too!

Three of my D’ class pupils, Hara, Stavroula and Emilia, came in the English room with a big smile and an even bigger 3D paper town! Apparently they were so inspired by our town lesson that they decided to make one of their own.
Their town is absolutely FANTASTIC!
Τhere is a sports centre, a theatre, a football field, a bakery and a shopping centre. There is a big park, where some kids are having a picnic (wow!) and a tiny car that distributes bread all over town. There is even the Big Ben, a tribute to England, since they’re learning English, as Hara noted!

Pinocchio’s board game
Κατηγορία 2nd Primary School of Akrata, Cultural project 2013-2014 'Mes tou vivliou tin angalia', projects 2013-2014 , στις 2 Απριλίου 2014 από Lenia KClass C’ was very inspired by the story of Pinnochio and has been really creative lately. Apart from reading the story from their coursebook and performing it in class, they also read this storybook
and decided to turn Pinocchio’s adventures into a board game which they’ll share with the rest of the school once finished. They wrote instructions on seperate cards, which were based on the story book’s characters and Pinocchio’s adventures, they designed the actual board game AND made some AMAZING plasticine pawns!
Now, they can’t wait to have fun playing with it!

Denezaki, visited our school. Each class presented the writer’s books either through drama, art, music or language games.
Class C’ closed the school show performing their song and put a smile on everyone’s face! Here they are performing their song:
The song, of which the lyrics and choreography were prepared by the pupils themselves, was the result of a project inspired by the book ‘Φράουλες, βατόμουρα και τρεις σταγόνες μέλι’ (written by L. Denezaki and E. Papavenetiou) and lasted approximately a month. During the project the pupils learned lots of food themed vocabulary, made food masks, played games and learned all about the Food Guide Pyramid in English.

Class C’ made some pancakes in class today! Yesterday, they learned how to sing the ‘Mix a pancake‘ rhyme.

Today, they watched the famous British chef Jamie Oliver making pancakes with his daughters and learned the ingredients in English. Then, it was their turn to ‘Mix a pancake, stir a pancake…’ !
They all did really well, they learned the ingredients in English, understood and acted out the English instructions and they were all very helpful!
