After analyzing the healthy food pyramid and the food groups they had to work in pairs and design a one day eating plan according to what they ‘ve learned; they had to incorporate 5 servings of grains and cereals, 5 servings of fruit and vegetables, 3 servings of milk,yoghurt and cheese and 2 servings of meat, fish, poultry, eggs, nuts and dry beans.
They did great!

A wonderful day today at school filled with Easter fun! We sang an Easter song, played Easter Bingo, had an Egg Hunt and tasted the chocolate eggs that Happy Benny brought for everyone!!!

Chinese New Year

Happiness project -Απλώνουμε την Ευτυχία

Class F drew T-shirts with slogans in English. Their slogans is all about what happiness means to them.

Κατηγορία 1st Kindergarten of Akrata 2023-2024, 1st Primary School of Akrata, 2023-2024 school year, Easter με ετικέτεςclass F', Kindergarten , στις 14 Μαρτίου 2024 από Lenia KToday was a great day! Class F presented a short play about the origin of Shrove Tuesday and the pancake race.
The kindergarten pupils recited the ‘Mix a pancake’ rhyme for the whole school and then we went out for a wonderful pancake race in which everyone participated, even the teachers!
For the race we used the pancakes that class F made with their French teacher. Read the Greek article HERE.
