Well done, TOP GIRLS!

You have a nice introduction! Although, you haven’t finished yet, it’s very good so far. As a reader I like that you also give me information on the days before the carnival parade.

Remember:

  1. Write a complete description of what happened.
  2. Have paragraphs.
  3. Write a nice conclusion.
  4. Use interesting words.

I’m sure you’ll do an excellent work, as always!

Looking forward to your article.

Well done, Kokorikoi!

You have an interesting introduction! Although, you haven’t finished yet, it’s nice so far. As a reader I would like to know exactly what happened that day and see some photos, too!

Remember:

  1. Write a complete description of what happened.
  2. Have paragraphs.
  3. Write a nice conclusion.
  4. Are you going to write a list with the football match’s results? (semi-finals and final)
  5. How about photos?

I think that a very good idea is to look at activity 3, because the article is about football. Maybe you can use some new words and make it better!

I’m sure you’ll do an excellent work, as always!

Looking forward to your article.

Well done, It’s us <3!

It’s a good idea to write about both of the days.

It seems to me, though, that you had problems coming up with ideas. I think that you should think about exactly what you did each day to celebrate the Greek Revolution and write as much information as you can.

Remember:

  1. Write an interesting introduction. Maybe you could change it a bit, to make it more interesting, focusing on our school’s celebration.
  2. Write a complete description of what happened on both days. Maybe you could re-write some of your sentences.
  3. Have paragraphs.
  4. Write a nice conclusion.
  5. Use interesting words. Why don’t you take a look at activity 3?

I’m sure you’ll do an excellent work, as always!

Looking forward to your article.

Well done, girls! You did a wonderful job!

Your first sentence is really wonderful and it makes me want to read the rest of the text! You have lots of nice suggestions but I think that you can make it even better. Here are my suggestions:

  1. Your water activities are mixed up: which are for the sea and which for the lake? Picnics and camping ARE NOT water activities!!!

Maybe you could categorize them (mountain, sea, lake, village).

  1. You could use more of the new phrases . For example, you use ‘beautiful’ two times.  Look at activity 3 (Things to do) and get some more ideas on activities

Now, think about these and make the appropriate changes. Then correct your mistakes looking at the guidelines.

I’m sure you’ll do an excellent job!

Well done boys!

It’s a very interesting text packed with information! I am happy that you use some of the new words, such as  ‘positioned, lovely place, exceptional choice , brimming with , attraction’ . You used the words very nicely!  As a reader, I really enjoyed reading it!!!

But you can make it even better. Here are my suggestions:

1.  You can use some adjectives to describe the churches and the high school. Look at activity 1 (Attractions / Explore the area).

2.  You write about Agios Haralambos. Why don’t you describe him a little? Where is it?  Why is it an attraction?  Look at activity 1.

  1. It’s very nice that you talk about Akrata (Ag. Haralambos), then about Helmos and the lake BUT then you talk about Akrata again (the high school). Maybe you should read it again and put it in a more logical order.
  2. How about other attractions? (Think about the Environmental centre, the gallery, the square, the memorial, the old houses, the neighborhoods). Why don’t you look at activity 1?
  3. Finally, your title is a bit strange…I think that a simpler one would be better… I don’t like it so much that you talk to your readers like that…

Your job is really great and I’m sure you can make it even better!

Now, think about these and make the appropriate changes. Then correct your mistakes looking at the guidelines.

I’m sure you’ll do an excellent job!

Very good, girls! You did a nice job!

You have important information in your text, but you need to look at the following:

When you talk about the area beyond Akrata you must write as much information as you can. There are so many important places!

  1. You wrote about Egio, but what about other big cities which are close to Akrata?
  2. You wrote about the villages, but you don’t give any information about them. Are they nice? Why should I visit them? Tsivlos is very famous, but you don’t give any information, at all!
  3. How about Egira? I think there is an important archaeological attraction there. Think about it…
  4. You could use some of the new phrases or words we learnt. Look at activity 1 (Explore the Area).

5.  As a reader, I don’t think that I have enough information to visit the area beyond your town…

Now, think about these and make the appropriate changes. Then correct your mistakes looking at the guidelines.

I’m sure you’ll do an excellent job!

Well done, girls! You did a wonderful job!

Your first sentence is really wonderful and it makes me want to read the rest of the text!!!

You have important information, but you need to look at the following:

  1. The sentence about the location is big and a bit confusing. You talk about the north, then the south-west. Maybe it will be better if you write it again and you put the information in a different order, or if you make two sentences out of it.
  2. In my opinion, it’s important to say that it is near the sea and specifically on the coast of the Corinthian gulf.
  3. As a reader, I would like to know about the older part of the town and the more modern part (near the sea).
  4. You could use some of the new phrases or words we learnt.  Look at activity 1 (Travel and maps).
  5.  Finally, about the exclamation points (!): we either use one! or three !!!, but not two !! We don’t usually use ! on titles.

Now, think about these and make the appropriate changes. Now, correct your mistakes looking at the guidelines!

Bravo!!!

Greek Movie Stars

Κατηγορία 1st Primary School of Akrata, eWriters project, 2010-2011, Feedback, Projects, projects 2010-2011, Video , στις 20 Μαρτίου 2011 από

Class ST’ posted some wonderful biographies last Friday with lots of  information on their favourite actors/actresses!

Their postings are really interesting to read, since they have information on their lives and their careers. Moreover, they had the lovely idea to add beautiful pictures and videos from popular films. In particular, the videos make their postings really delightful!

So, here are two videos of my two most favourite films.

The one is from ‘Η Παριζιάνα’, starring my BEST ACTRESS EVER, Rena Vlahopoulou.

The second is from ‘Φαλακρός Πράκτωρ’. I believe that this is one of the most hilarious scenes in the Greek films!!!

Enjoy!

Looking forward to your comments!

I must say, the harder the mission, the better you perform!

Excellent first draft, everyone! You all did your best!

It is very difficult finding the information you really need and use it to write a text in another language!

And you did it really well!

Now, here are my comments for every group:

Vougiouklaki group

You have most of the information in your biography, but you need to write about the people she worked with, other activities of hers, awards and year of death, as your friends suggested.

Maybe you could write your first sentence better or put it together with the second sentence.

You can use some more phrases/words from activity 2.

Think about your paragrapghs.

Don’t forget to write a nice conclusion!

Well Done! 🙂

 Hatzihristos group

You have almost all the information in your text! 🙂 But you could write about his theatrical career, too.

Remember to use some more phrases/words from activity 2.

Think about your paragraphs.

Don’t forget to write a nice conclusion!

Well Done!

 Rena Vlahopoulou group

Excellent use of new words from activity 2! 🙂

I can see you haven’t finished your text yet. You wrote lots of interesting information, but you need to write about her most popular films, her awards (if she was awarded) and year of death, as your friends suggested.

 Think about your paragraphs.

Don’t forget to write a nice conclusion!

Well Done!

 Karezi group

 Veggos group

You have lots of interesting information in your biography, but you need to write about the people he worked with, other activities , and/ or awards and , as your friends suggested.

Your information could be in a better order. Discuss other ideas with your group.

In your first sentence  you don’t say whose is this biography !

You can use some more phrases/words from activity 2.

Think about your paragraphs.

Don’t forget to write a nice conclusion!

Well Done! 🙂

Use the guidelines to correct your mistakes and don’t forget to use your friends’ comments!

Good luck!

Little weather reporters

Oh, my little ones were such great weather reporters today!

Class D’ searched in freemeteo.gr for information. Then, each pair chose a day and wrote about this week’s weather in our town.

They also made a small drawing to add to their report.

Well done, class D’!

 Fantastic!

I must say, you are all great cooks! Your mums must be really proud!

You thought and wrote about some really delicious sandwiches!

Here’s an idea for you:

Why don’t you make them as a school snack next Friday?

You can make the other group’s recipe, bring it school and  take a photo of it, before eating it.

That way you can publish the photo with your recipe.

So, what do you think?

You have an interesting recipe.

But the title is a bit confusing: what kind of recipe is it about?

Correct your mistakes according to the guidelines and you’re done!

Feedback on ‘Book review’

Κατηγορία 1st Primary School of Akrata, eWriters project, 2010-2011, Feedback, Projects, projects 2010-2011 , στις 8 Μαρτίου 2011 από

Well done to all of you, my little bookworms!

Here you can read my opinion on your reviews.

Write them again carefully and they’re ready to get published!

Well done, Kokorikoi!

You have all the information in the review and it is interesting to read. I like it that you share your honest opinion with your readers!

A small problem: your readers may not understand what is ‘genre’. Maybe you could use the simpler words (adventure story) in your description.

Correct your mistakes carefully!

Well done, IT’S US……<3 !

You have all the information in the review and it is very interesting to read. I like it that you describe the characters so nicely!

 Correct your mistakes carefully!

Well done, Black tulips!

You have all the information in the review and it is very interesting to read. I like it that you have information such as the age level!

Correct your mistakes carefully! Remember to write a nice title, too!

Well done! It’s a good review with a nice title, but you must think about the following:

  • Unfortunately, I can’t understand half of the description.
  • There aren’t any commas, full stops or any kind of punctuation.
  • What’s the reviewer’s name?
  • Your opinion could be better (good is a very simple word).

In my opinion, you can make it better, if you work as a group and you correct your mistakes carefully.

Well done, Top Girls!

You have all the information in the review and it is very nice. I especially like your opinion!

You must think about the following:

  • Unfortunately, I can’t understand a part of the description. Maybe you could use the names from the beginning of the description.
  • We don’t use ‘In the end’ like that. Maybe you could finish with a question.
  • There isn’t a title for your posting! Think of a nice one!

Correct your mistakes carefully! Remember to write a nice title, too!
