Respecting Diversity workshop

“Respecting Diversity” workshop at 9th Primary School!
On December 18th, the 6th grade students of 9th Primary school had the opportunity to take part in an interactive workshop, powered by the British Council and the Olympic Truce Centre.
The programme related to bullying and conflict resolution aiming at educating students on how to avoid negative behaviours.
The first half of the programme was delivered in the English language by Mr Cliff Parry (academic manager of the British Council of Greece) while the second half was delivered in Greek by Mr Grigoris Chatzatourian (Olympic champion in handball).
The programme emphasised among other issues, on:
recognizing diversity
equality of opportunity
social inclusion
conflict resolution
Each student was also awarded with an Olympic Truce Diploma!!!
