While implementing a project about Volunteering, we made bird feeders and bird waterers from milk empty cartons, empty cans, plastic and metallic caps, plastic bottles, string, clay and glue. We used the second ones for the waterers. We made bees, wasps, ladybugs and an owl. As for the bird feeders, the pupils brought seeds and special bird food, coloured the cartons with temperas and in the end they put a layer of white glue to waterproof them. My pupils loved them and our birds bacame happier! They also decorated our schoolyard and our trees with their colours!
