Η συμμετοχή του 8ου Δημοτικού Σχολείου στον Παγκόσμιο Εκπαιδευτικό Οργανισμό Global School Alliance, όπου πραγματοποιούνται κοινά έργα με 8000 σχολεία από 141 Χώρες από όλον τον κόσμο με συντονίστρια την Scientix Ambassador Έλλη Μαντζανά και τη συμμετοχή του εκπαιδευτικού συλλόγου και της Διεύθυνσης του σχολείου μας, απονεμήθηκε το Bronze Award!
Πρόκειται για ένα σπουδαίο επίτευγμα το οποίο θα ενισχύσει ακόμη περισσότερο την ανοικτότητα του σχολείου μας, νέες καινοτόμες συνεργασίες με Χώρες από όλες τις Ηπείρους και επαφή με σχολεία της Βρετανίας, γεγονός το οποίο θα βελτιώσει τις γλωσσικές και επικοινωνιακές δεξιότητες των μαθητών. Why is global education important to you and your school?
Since global education equips us to prosper in a linked world, it is vital for both students and schools. Understanding diverse cultures, economics, and global challenges broadens our viewpoint and improves our comprehension of both our local community and the wider world. This kind of education fosters empathy and critical thinking, which enables us to value differences and collaborate with others. It also gives us the tools to deal with global issues like inequality, conflict, and climate change, which improves our performance academically and makes us better global citizens. By participating in global education, we develop a feeling of duty and belonging that goes beyond the boundaries of our schools, transforming us into knowledgeable people prepared to make valuable contributions to society.
