Students choose different ways to present a process HALLOWEEN

This year, with Mrs Niki our English teacher, we made a pumpkin and it was very beautiful. First, we cleaned the pumpkin. Then we sketched the eyes, the nose and the mouth. After that, we cut them out with a knife. Finally, we put a candle inside the pumpkin and we lit it. We liked it very much!

How to make a Jack-o’-lantern

Ingredients

1 pumpkin
1knife
1marker
1 newspaper
1 spoon
1candle

Instructions

First you must put the newspaper on the table. Then we must cut off the top of the pumpkin. Next we must clean the inside of the pumpkin with the spoon. Later draw the face; 2eyes, a nose and a mouth. After that cut out the eyes, the rest of the face and wash it. In the end we must put the candle inside the pumpkin!!!

How we made a Jack-o’- lantern in our classroom

• First, our teacher bought a pumpkin at a greengrocer’s
• Next, we put a newspaper on the table
• After that, our teacher asked a child to cut the top of the pumpkin
• Another child put out the spores of the pumpkin with a spoon
• Then, other children drew two eyes, a nose and a mouth with a marker
• Then, we cut them out and we put a candle in the pumpkin
• Finally, our Jack-o’-lantern was ready! (Vassilis-Yiannis-Stellios)

How we made a Jack-o’- lantern in our classroom

During our English class we made a Jack ‘o’ Lantern. I and my classmates cut the top of the pumpkin and then we cleaned out the seeds and everything that was inside. Then we drew the spooky face and cut it out. Later on, we lit the candle and put it inside. I liked the lesson very much because in the end the Jack ‘o’ Lantern was very scary. (Antony – Bill)
HALLOWEEN I liked our lesson about Halloween because we made a pumpkin to honor the custom of Halloween. It was an exciting and amazing experience!!
