The 3rd General Lyceum of Korydallos “Melina Mercouri” participated in ErasmusDays 2025 on 16 October 2025, through a special collaborative activity with I.I.S. Galileo Galilei in Florence.
The online meeting took place within the framework of the European ErasmusDays initiative, which is organised every October across Europe to promote the values, experiences and outcomes of the Erasmus+ programme.
Students and teachers from the two schools connected online in a one-hour “virtual exchange”. For the students, this activity was their first meaningful introduction to one another and opened the way for their later collaboration in the eTwinning project “Humans and Machines: Understanding What Makes Us Unique in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”.
During the meeting, students presented their work, exchanged experiences and discussed ideas for future joint activities. The Korydallos–Florence collaboration is part of a broader path of cooperation between the two schools, which began with the Erasmus+ Job Shadowing programme “Artificial Intelligence in Teaching Practice” in September 2025.
The ErasmusDays activity acted as a bridge between the professional collaboration of the teachers and the transnational student partnership that followed, highlighting the importance of European cooperation, intercultural dialogue and the pedagogical use of Artificial Intelligence.
Το 3ο Γενικό Λύκειο Κορυδαλλού «Μελίνα Μερκούρη» συμμετείχε στις 16 Οκτωβρίου 2025 στα ErasmusDays 2025, με μια ιδιαίτερη δράση συνεργασίας με το I.I.S. Galileo Galilei της Φλωρεντίας.
Η διαδικτυακή συνάντηση πραγματοποιήθηκε στο πλαίσιο του ευρωπαϊκού θεσμού ErasmusDays, που διοργανώνεται κάθε Οκτώβριο σε όλη την Ευρώπη, με στόχο την ανάδειξη των αξιών, των εμπειριών και των αποτελεσμάτων του προγράμματος Erasmus+.
Οι μαθητές και οι εκπαιδευτικοί των δύο σχολείων συνδέθηκαν διαδικτυακά σε μια «ψηφιακή αδελφοποίηση» διάρκειας μίας ώρας. Για τους μαθητές, η δράση αυτή αποτέλεσε την πρώτη ουσιαστική γνωριμία μεταξύ τους και άνοιξε τον δρόμο για τη μετέπειτα συνεργασία τους στο eTwinning έργο “Humans and Machines: Understanding What Makes Us Unique in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”.
Κατά τη διάρκεια της συνάντησης, οι μαθητές παρουσίασαν εργασίες, αντάλλαξαν εμπειρίες και συζήτησαν ιδέες για μελλοντικές κοινές δράσεις. Η συνεργασία Κορυδαλλού–Φλωρεντίας εντάσσεται σε μια ευρύτερη πορεία επαφών των δύο σχολείων, η οποία ξεκίνησε με το πρόγραμμα Erasmus+ Job Shadowing «Η Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη στη Διδακτική Πράξη», τον Σεπτέμβριο 2025.
Η δράση ErasmusDays λειτούργησε ως γέφυρα ανάμεσα στην επαγγελματική συνεργασία των εκπαιδευτικών και στη διακρατική μαθητική σύμπραξη που ακολούθησε, αναδεικνύοντας τη σημασία της ευρωπαϊκής συνεργασίας, του διαπολιτισμικού διαλόγου και της παιδαγωγικής αξιοποίησης της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης.
