Lots of bookworms visited it and spent time browsing at the books, talking and listening to music. The new librarians were really excited and they coped really well with the unexpected work load.

‘Let’s celebrate’, the end

Happy day today!
We celebrated the end of our ‘Let’s celebrate’cultural project at school!
The families of the pupils, who participated at the project, attended the school event and had the opportunity to watch their kids explaining everything about the project. There were presentations (pupils’ output, videos, photos) and songs. However, the highlight was the Shrove Tuesday play! Everyone enjoyed it and especially the kids who really wanted to share the fruits of their labor with their families!
At the end, each pupil was awarded a certificate of attendance by the Department of Cultural Affairs of Primary Education of Achaia and recieved a booklet that contained all the material gathered during the project.
Super Librarians and Amazing Bookworms

There were many bookworms, who ‘ate’ books and lots of helpful librarians, who assisted their classsmates. So, today there were prizes in order! There were 6 prizes for six lucky librarians and 3 prizes for three lucky bookworms. Each fantastic librarian was also awarded the ‘Super Librarian Award’. Congratulations!

Our play in Patra!
Κατηγορία 1st Primary School of Akrata, All Day School, Cultural project 2013-2014: British Customs, projects 2013-2014 , στις 5 Ιουνίου 2014 από Lenia KToday we participated in the Cultural Projects Event in Patra. The event was hosted by Dr A. Koufou, head of the Department of Cultural Affairs of Primary Education of Achaia, and was held in the Agora Argiri conference hall . Many Primary schools from all over Achaia attended and shared their cultural projects. We presented our Shrove Tuesday play and the pupils were both great actors AND and an amazing audience. We all had a great time!
