They also learned some useful phrases/ instructions such as:

Watch the video and see how motivating their board game was:
Then, they decided to lend it to the pupils of the C’ class of the 1st Primary School and spread some fun over there, too!

The big day came at last!Yesterday morning, a children’s book writer, Mrs L. Denezaki, visited our school. Each class presented the writer’s books either through drama, art, music or language games.
Class C’ closed the school show performing their song and put a smile on everyone’s face! Here they are performing their song:
The song, of which the lyrics and choreography were prepared by the pupils themselves, was the result of a project inspired by the book ‘Φράουλες, βατόμουρα και τρεις σταγόνες μέλι’ (written by L. Denezaki and E. Papavenetiou) and lasted approximately a month. During the project the pupils learned lots of food themed vocabulary, made food masks, played games and learned all about the Food Guide Pyramid in English.
Dimitra, Maria, Anna, Konstantina and Argyroula are showing you how to make a lovely Easter craft.
Enjoy!

These days everyone (but me) seems to decorate their house and the Christmas tree. So, why not make decorations of your own? Here are some nice ideas that I hope you’ll like!
Today classes C’, D’ , E’ and ST’ discussed their notes they took during the last lesson, while watching how Mr Bean (and all British people for that matter) celebrates Christmas. They also saw and discussed photos of British Christmas. They loved the British customs and they decided which ones they would like to bring to life in class.
So, they wrote down that they want to:
decorate a Christmas tree
make crackers
make Christmas chains
learn English carols
Next week they’ll begin with their most favourite custom, making crackers, and making christmas chains! So, here’s the video the older pupils watched in order to be prepared for the next lesson:
In the crackers there’s usually a Christmas hat. This is a great video on how to make it!
We can’t wait to try out ours!
I’m sure some of you will decorate your Christmas tree this weekend, so, why not make ornaments of your own? This craft is super fast and easy! From the bathroom to your Christmas tree! 🙂
Good luck!
Today it was the day to try the pumpkin cake the kids made yesterday! And the most proper way to do this was to complement it with a nice, funny video. To get a glimpse of what the British do during Christmas, they watched the episode ‘Merry Christmas Mr. Bean’. They had a good laugh, but they also had to focus their attention as they searched for info to fill a table about Bristish Christmas. So, today we had both a taste of Halloween AND Christmas in class.
Well done kids! Your cake was delicious!
And if you would like to watch the episode and get into the Christmas spirit, then click on it! I’m sure many of you will decorate a Christmas tree this weekend!
Happy weekend everyone!
Today class C’ learned and danced to a beautiful song!
The English room got filled with the colours of the rainbow!
Incy Wincy is a determined little spider that doesn’t give up! He wants to go up the water spout despite the rain and he finally makes it! Classes C’ and D’ sang the song and made an Incy Wincy craft to hang in their bedroom!
Would you like to decorate your Easter table with a flower napkin? You can even put some chocolate eggs in them!
Materials:
a napkin
a paper cup
Good luck!
