Narratives of Religions
Introduction
This activity is addressed to introduce the narrative meaning of religions and to make familiar to the teachers who live in other cultural contexts what is strictly related with the idea of humanity that is transmitted to the children by their family first and then by the scholar environment.
The teachers will be asked to describe a sort of “trip along the religious ideas and narratives approaches” in order to make the others familiar with their own idea of religions, behind and together with the spiritual meaning of the beliefs.
Structure of the presentation
The origins of the World and of the Human beings
In this section the teachers will identify how their religion proposes the description of the origins of the humanity and of the University and the Myths the religions uses for transmitting the will of God/s in creating the Universe.
The life after life
How the religions describe the future of the Man after this passage in the World
Being a Man of Faith
The role of the believer and what he/she has to do and how he/she has to behave in order to respect the rules of the religious life
The values of the religion
What values the religion proposes, promotes and intends to be respected by the believers
Rites and Celebrations of the religion
Main celebrations of the religion, short description of the rites and their meaning
The teachers should at the end describe in brief also the organizations of the religion in the country
The Partner responsible of the research will present some indications about the result of the investigation in the Countries involved.
