Το 2ο Δημοτικό Σχολείο Ορχομενού ιδρύθηκε το 1946 και ο 1ος διευθυντής ονομαζόταν Παναγιώτης Χριστοδούλου (σύμφωνα με τα αρχεία του σχολείου). Το 1992 έγινε 12/θέσιο και εγκαινιάστηκε το κτιριακό συγκρότημα που λειτουργεί και στεγάζεται σήμερα με διευθυντή-τότε- τον Ιωάννη Θειακούλη.
Το συγκρότημα διαθέτει 13 Aίθουσες Διδασκαλίας, Xημείο, 2 Aίθουσες Ηλεκτρονικών Υπολογιστών , Aίθουσα Πολιτιστικών Eκδηλώσεων , Σχολική Βιβλιοθήκη (“Ακιδαλία”) , Γήπεδο Kαλαθοσφαίρισης , Γήπεδο Πετοσφαίρισης.
Το Σχολείο μας είναι κέντρο διανομής σχολικών βιβλίων για τα σχολεία της Α/θμιας Εκπ/σης του Δήμου Ορχομενού.
Στο Σχολείο μας γίνονται εξετάσεις ενηλίκων (για Δημότες Ορχομενού) με σκοπό την απόκτηση τίτλου απολυτηρίου Δημοτικού.

2nd Primary School of Orchomenos
The second Primary School of Orchomenos was founded in 1946 and its first principal was Panagiotis Christodoulou ( according to the school’s files ).
In 1992 it acquired twelve teaching posts and on the same date the new compound, where our school is housed today, was inaugurated having John Thiakoulis as its new headmaster.
This compound has got 13 classrooms, a chemistry laboratory, 2 computer laboratories, a classroom where cultural activities take place, a school library ( Akidalia ), a basketball court and a volleyball court.
Our school is a distribution centre of school textbooks for all schools of the Directorate of Primary Education which belong to the Municipality of Orchomenos.
Examinations for adults who are citizens of Orchomenos are held in our school, so that they can obtain a primary school diploma.
