To σχολείο μας στο πλαίσιο των Ρητορικών Ομίλων συμμετείχε κατά το σχολικό έτος 2022-2023 σε δύο συνέδρια προσομοίωσης ΟΗΕ (MUN).Το MUN είναι, ένας εξαιρετικός θεσμός που έχει ως στόχο του να οικοδομήσει ανάμεσα στους νέους την κατανόηση παγκόσμιων προκλήσεων, με τρόπο που να ξεπερνά τα όρια: των συνόρων, των εθνικοτήτων, των διαφορετικών πολιτισμών.
Είναι αναμφισβήτητα ένα εναλλακτικό εκπαιδευτικό εργαλείο, μια μη συμβατική μάθηση που ανάπτυσσει την προσωπικότητα των μαθητών και τους παρέχει σφαιρική μόρφωση και μία οριζόντια εκπαιδευτική εμπειρία που συμπληρώνει τη βασική εκπαίδευση.
Ο μαθητής μαθαίνει:
1) από τη δική του προσωπική προσπάθεια και έρευνα
2) από την αλληλεπίδρασή του με τους συνομήλικους
Επίσης, ευαισθητοποιείται σχετικά με παγκόσμια προβλήματα πολιτικού, ανθρωπιστικού ,οικονομικού, αναπτυξιακού και περιβαλλοντικού ενδιαφέροντος.

38 μαθητές και 3 συνοδοί καθηγητές (Ιωάννης Γκότσης, Παναγιωτοπούλου Παρασκευή, Θεοδοσίου Μαρία) απήλαυσαν μια μοναδική εμπειρία στην «αιώνια πόλη»!
ΑΘΗΝΑ 3-5 Μαρτίου 2023
13 μαθητές και 3 καθηγήτριες (Κοτρώτσου Μαρία, Αλεξοπούλου Αλεξία, Παναγιωτοπούλου Παρασκευή) συμμετείχαν στο PSMUN στα Εκπαιδευτήρια Πλάτωνα και έζησαν και αυτοί μια αξέχαστη εμπειρία!
Οι μαθητές μας και στα δύο συνέδρια ,μυήθηκαν στον κόσμο της διεθνούς διπλωματίας,ήρθαν σε επαφή με αλλους νεαρούς διπλωμάτες από άλλες χώρες, εξάσκησαν την αγγλική γλώσσα και πραγματεύτηκαν θέματα με τα οποία ασχολείται ο ΟΗΕ.
