Το ίδρυμα Mozilla θα κυκλοφορήσει σύντομα μια νέα πειραματική έκδοση του Firefox Nightly, η οποία θα περιλαμβάνει ένα πρωτόκολλο επικοινωνίας Peer-to-peer open source που ονομάζεται WebRΤC και επιτρέπει Real-Time Communications (RTC) ή στα Ελληνικά επικοινωνία σε πραγματικό χρόνο μεταξύ δύο προγραμμάτων περιήγησης στο Web μέσω ενός απλού Javascript API.
