Class F watched a video about William Shakespeare, read his biography and then each one made a poster about his life. All the posters were exhibited in the school hall for everyone to enjoy!

They drew their best friends with crayons and wrote a short description in English. All the younger classes were so impressed that they gathered around and talked about the portraits for quite some time! They said which were their favourite ones and made some wonderful comments! Many of them asked me to have Art classes with them, too!

Grade 5 and 6 have been preparing for the 7th February when we are going to celebrate ‘Safer Internet Day’ at school.
6th grade created radio spots and a song for the EUROPEAN SCHOOL RADIO:
5th grade came up with rules we should follow when we surf the Net. Then they translated them in English looking the words up in the dictionary. Finally they made signs out of them!

At the computer lab

Κατηγορία 1st Primary School of Akrata, Internet Safety project, projects 2015-2016 με ετικέτεςclass F' , στις 11 Ιουνίου 2016 από Lenia KOur school has been a member of the ‘Aσφάλεια στο Διαδίκτυο’ school network for the second school year.Since the older pupils use social media and facebook in particular, class ST learned about how to use it safely. So, during the English lesson they watched a series of English videos, then discussed what they saw in class and they finally made a board game with the instructions both in Greek and English. All these activities were organized in cooperation with their Greek teacher, Mrs. Konstantina.

The portraits are decorating their classrooms now and they’re filling the room with colours.
