Getting ready for the Student Festival that is taking place on 20th May in Egion!
Classes D and E have been taking part in a project called ‘Αυτό που μας ενώνει’ along with 5 more Primary Schools this year and all of us are meeting at the festival. Each school is preparing a poster made of fabric that is painted with fabric markers with key words. We wrote words and the phrase ‘Together as one’ inspired by the song ‘We are the world’ that class E is performing on 20th May!

Class E worked very hard in the classroom and in the computer lab to prepare presentations of Edessa, a beautiful city in the north of Greece.
We talked about this special day at school today with the help of our special needs teachers Mrs Katerina and Mrs Martha. Duting the English lesson the pupils learned about the braille code. Τhen they decoded the words LOVE, CARE, SUPPORT, KINDNESS and wrote them using plasticine. Read here what the local press wrote about it.

Class E discussed Internet Safety again today and made group posters expressing their opinions. Then they agreed or disagreed with the other groups’
statements on post-its.
This is the third year that our school has been participating in the Greek school network ‘Ασφάλεια στο Διαδίκτυο’ . Grade 5 and 6 have been preparing for the 7th February when we are going to celebrate ‘Safer Internet Day’ at school.
6th grade created radio spots and a song for the EUROPEAN SCHOOL RADIO:
5th grade came up with rules we should follow when we surf the Net. Then they translated them in English looking the words up in the dictionary. Finally they made signs out of them!
