A wonderful project by class D. They learned names of countries, their capitals and flags, made their passports and luggage and they’re ready to fly to their favourite destinations!
Class D enjoyed a cooking class today! First they watched this video made by class F last year, then they made their own ice cream. They were very well organized, they collaborated perfectly and had brought all the ingredients and equipment. Their imagination and cooking skills were out of this world!
The boys’ team went for a triple chocolate and cookies ice cream whereas the girls’ team made a fairy tale pink vanilla and milk chocolate chips ice cream. The kids also made a smaller tin with cookies ice cream for the teachers. Can’t wait to taste them tomorrow! Congratulations, everyone! So proud of you!
Class D wrote about their pets on a padlet. Take a look at the presentation HERE

We have been preparing quite early for the International Children’s Books Day, which is on April 2nd.
This year we will have a guest visitor, Mrs Anna Dendrinou, who is a children’s books author. We did a reading of her book ‘O Φίφης και ο Σήφης’ in English and then class A made bookmarks with the two mice looking at the moon and the ‘True friends always give a helping hand’. They made a bookmark as a gift for Mrs. Anna, too.
Class D prepared a wonderful wordsearch puzzle with flashcards for the other classes to do. Will they find the hidden words? The words they included were take from Mrs. Dendrinou’s book called ‘To φιλαράκι μου’ and the pupils used dictionaries to look up the unknown words.
Last, class E translated this year’s international poster in Englsih. They did excellent work using old pages, paper, markers and watercolors to make a collage.
Well done everyone! And remember this year’s quote ‘Stories are wings that help you fly everyday’.
Class D made some paper cities and played this game:
We spent the morning at beautiful Lake Tsivlos with the teachers of the Environmental Centre of Kleitoria-Akrata and our class’s teacher Mr. Thanasis.
