A day trip to Lake Tsivlos

A new classmate
Κατηγορία 1st Kindergarten of Akrata, 1st Kindergarten of Akrata 2021-2022, 2021-2022 school year με ετικέτεςKindergarten , στις 29 Οκτωβρίου 2021 από Lenia KToday there was a letter from England at the kindergarten. It was from Happy Benny, a new classmate. He is from England but he’ll visit us soon. The children spotted England and Greece on the map and put their flags in place. Then they prepared a poster with every kid’s favourite kindergarten activity in order to show him that kindergarten is fun!
Everyone is looking forward to meeting him soon!
Favourite things about kindergarten: friends, playing ball, playing with building blocks, toy animals, hoops, having parties, drawing, reading stories, plasticine, balloons!

It’s an activity much enjoyed by everyone in the classroom! It’s a chance to talk about the reasons we feel happy, sad or not so good.
Planting tulips

Everyone brought pots, Mrs Litsa brought the soil and Miss Lenia the bulbs. It was a lovely activity as it was a nice sunny day, perfect for gardening! Looking forward to watching them grow!
First we put soil in the pots

Tulips

They watched two videos, one with the tulip fields in the Netherlands and one with the life cycle of a tulip. Then we talked about the things we need to grow a flower, they made collages and decided to grow their own tulips at school. Mrs Litsa is going to help us!

European Day of Languages

Το γεγονός αυτό πηγάζει από την πεποίθηση του Συμβουλίου της Ευρώπης ότι η γλωσσική πολυμορφία αποτελεί εργαλείο για την επίτευξη ευρύτερης διαπολιτισμικής κατανόησης και βασικό στοιχείο στην πλούσια πολιτιστική κληρονομιά της ηπείρου μας. Ως εκ τούτου, το Συμβούλιο της Ευρώπης στο Στρασβούργο προωθεί την πολυγλωσσία σε όλη την Ευρώπη.
Με πρωτοβουλία του Συμβουλίου της Ευρώπης, από το 2001 η Ευρωπαϊκή Ημέρα Γλωσσών γιορτάζεται κάθε χρόνο στις 26 Σεπτεμβρίου μαζί με την Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή.
