The kids made their own Cookie Land in a shoe box!
Some serious Big Mouth bookmarks, inspired from Cookie Land’s monster, are about to ‘eat’ story book pages instead of poor cookies…
Today we all had fun playing the two Cookie Land games (board game & memory game) in English!
The kids used English instructions throughout the board game such as:
‘It’s my/your turn’
‘Roll the dice’
‘Give me the dice’
‘Take a card’
‘Read the card’
Here’s how lovely they played:
And here are the instructions cards they made:
After reading Cookie Land everyone developed a hunger for cookies! So, today we made some! They were delicious!
If you want to make them yourself, just watch class D’ giving instructions:
First, they discussed all about the 5 SMART RULES in class, then they brainstormed the questions and wrote them in pairs. Finally, they uploaded the quiz online themselves at the computer lab. The quiz will always be uploaded on Teacher’s Nest and eWriters.
These are the 5 SMART RULES:

Well done, guys!
Today at All Day School the kids watched the fairytale ‘Cookie Land’ on the interactive board and then they started talking about making games based on the story. It’s one of the activities they noted down the first day they read the story. The Avengers and The Cool Girls decided to make a board game, wereas The Fantastic 4 decided to make a memory game based on the story’s vocabulary. They cooperated really nicely, discussed several ideas and noted down everything. Next time, they’ll start making the games.
The groups have started creating their logos for the project. Lots of ideas and a variety of opinions. I can’t wait to see the results!
Markella and Gogo, class ST’, created this beautiful poster to inform their schoolmates about the English library. The poster is on the front door for everyone to see. Excellent work, girls!
MM Publications kindly donated all these readers to our English library.
