Wishing you all, a Happy Easter!

Today class C’ had fun playing their new board game in English of course!
They also learned some useful phrases/ instructions such as:

Watch the video and see how motivating their board game was:
Then, they decided to lend it to the pupils of the C’ class of the 1st Primary School and spread some fun over there, too!

I had a wonderful surprise today at school!
Three of my D’ class pupils, Hara, Stavroula and Emilia, came in the English room with a big smile and an even bigger 3D paper town! Apparently they were so inspired by our town lesson that they decided to make one of their own.
Their town is absolutely FANTASTIC!
Τhere is a sports centre, a theatre, a football field, a bakery and a shopping centre. There is a big park, where some kids are having a picnic (wow!) and a tiny car that distributes bread all over town. There is even the Big Ben, a tribute to England, since they’re learning English, as Hara noted!
What do YOU think?
Do you like it?
Well done, girls! You’re great artists!
Dimitra, Maria, Anna, Konstantina and Argyroula are showing you how to make a lovely Easter craft.
Enjoy!
A wonderful tried and tested speaking activity today in class D’.
Class C’ made some pancakes in class today! Yesterday, they learned how to sing the ‘Mix a pancake‘ rhyme.

Today, they watched the famous British chef Jamie Oliver making pancakes with his daughters and learned the ingredients in English. Then, it was their turn to ‘Mix a pancake, stir a pancake…’ !
They all did really well, they learned the ingredients in English, understood and acted out the English instructions and they were all very helpful!
Class ST’ made some super easy Valentine’s cards and spread some love to their classmates and headteacher!
It was so much fun!
Class D2′ learned all about the Uk and where exactly it is in Europe and draw maps…
…while class D1 made beautiful posters about their favourie sports and hobbies.
Class E’ prepared surveys about their schoolmates’ habits. They even published them on eWriters.

…to get the mice!
The little mice (class C’) made their masks today, following the cat’s (Miss L’s) instructions in English. They’re all ready to act the story next week!
Today class E’ prepared questionnaires in groups. Next week they’re going to upload them so that their classmates can take their surveys online.
Today class C’ made Christmas cards. Some of the pupils who attend All Day School told the rest of the class about how the British hang their cards on a string. So when the wishes were written, each pupil hung his/her card on a piece of string in the English room and wished Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Writing cards the British way then!
