We talked about this special day at school today with the help of our special needs teachers Mrs Katerina and Mrs Martha. Duting the English lesson the pupils learned about the braille code. Τhen they decoded the words LOVE, CARE, SUPPORT, KINDNESS and wrote them using plasticine. Read here what the local press wrote about it.

Learning words about the body parts through a song today with classes A and B!
This last unit has been about the weather and the seasons. So what a better way to finish it than painting the seasons inspired by Monet’s work. Class C worked in groups and made four beautiful paintings using pastels. Here is their work:
Class F has been doing some research on the Globe’s official website, they watched videos about it and they have designed a great brochure to advertise this historic theatre with the great exhibition and performances:

Class F’ has worked very hard and turned the myth of Daedalus and Icarus into F A N T A S T I C comics!!! In particular, a group made their own version of the myth.

Class C has finished their paintings inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s famous painting called ‘Starry Night’:
Now that the Pinocchio unit has finished class C has has started working on Starry night paintings inspired by Van Gogh’s famous painting.

The pupils made a collage of their families, then described them orally in class and finally they wrote short descriptions for each family member.
Classes A and B drew, sang and played with the song!
