Hello, dear students!

As we embark on this exciting journey into a new school year, I want to extend a warm welcome to each one of you. Whether you’re returning after a summer of relaxation and fun, or you’re new to our school, I’m thrilled to have you in my English class.

A new school year is like the start of a new book, with blank pages waiting to be filled with our stories, ideas, and learning experiences. Together, we will explore the richness of the English language, uncovering the beauty of words, the power of expression, and the joy of storytelling. This year promises to be full of discoveries, challenges, and growth.

For those of you who might feel a bit anxious about what lies ahead, remember that every great journey begins with a single step. Learning a language is not just about memorizing grammar rules or expanding your vocabulary; it’s about opening up new ways to communicate, think, and understand the world around you. So, don’t be afraid to make mistakes—each one is an opportunity to learn and improve.

We’ll be diving into captivating stories, engaging in thought-provoking discussions, and sharpening our writing skills. I encourage you to bring your creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm to every class. Your ideas matter, and I can’t wait to hear your unique perspectives on the topics we’ll explore.

As your teacher, I’m here to guide and support you. My goal is not just to teach you English, but to inspire you to find your voice and use it confidently. If there’s ever a topic you don’t understand, a question you want to ask, or a piece of writing you’re particularly proud of, please don’t hesitate to share it with me. Our classroom is a space where everyone’s thoughts and contributions are valued.

This year, let’s challenge ourselves to go beyond the ordinary. Let’s aim high, work hard, and make this school year one to remember. I believe in each of you, and I’m confident that together, we can achieve amazing things.

Σήμερα υλοποιήθηκε με επιτυχία το 6^ο Μαθητικό Φεστιβάλ Ρητορικής Τέχνης, για μαθητές και μαθήτριες Πρωτοβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης στο Ίδρυμα Πολιτισμού Στ. Νιάρχος. Το θέμα του φετινού φεστιβάλ ήταν οι «ΑΞΙΕΣ ΖΩΗΣ» και  έλαβα μέρος με τέσσερις μαθητές από το Δ2, επτά από το Στ2 σε τρία παιχνίδια λόγου του 14ου Δημοτικού Σχολείου και με δυο μαθητές από την Ε‘ Δημοτικού του 9ου Δημοτικού Σχολείου σε ένα παιχνίδι.

Συγκεκριμένα, στο παιχνίδι της Νοηματικής Ανάγνωσης, οι μαθητές μου ανέδειξαν με την εκφραστική τους ανάγνωση τις αξίες του σεβασμού προς τους μεγαλύτερους, της κοινωνικότητας, της προσαρμοστικότητας, της πραγματικής ευτυχίας και της αγάπης. Στο παιχνίδι του Αυθόρμητου οι μαθητές μίλησαν για τις αξίες της ευγνωμοσύνης, της οικογένειας, της τάξης και της ειρήνης. Τέλος, στο παιχνίδι της Γυάλας των Επιχειρημάτων, οι μαθητές μου συνομίλησαν με παιδιά άλλων σχολείων και στήριξαν τα επιχειρήματά τους σχετικά με τον τρόπο διαχείρισης μιας κακής επίδοσης σε ένα διαγώνισμα και κατ’επέκταση της αισιόδοξης και απαισιόδοξης στάσης.

Όπως διάβασε μια μαθήτρια της Δ’ Δημοτικού στο Φεστιβάλ αλλά και το συμπέρασμα που βγάλαμε κατά τη διάρκεια της προετοιμασίας  μας είναι ότι “στη ζωή, οι πραγματικές αξίες, όπως η φιλία, η αγάπη, η υγεία, η ελευθερία είναι δωρεάν και δεν αγοράζονται” αλλά καλλιεργούνται!

“Remember: AI is like any other tool…first you get the knowledge and then you get the power!”

Το σύντομο video που ακολουθεί, εξηγεί τι είναι η μηχανική μάθηση, η οποία αποτελεί το θεμέλιο της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης (ΤΝ). Η μηχανική μάθηση περιλαμβάνει αλγόριθμους που μαθαίνουν από δεδομένα να κάνουν προβλέψεις ή να παίρνουν αποφάσεις.

Ας εκπαιδεύσουμε την ΤΝ να αναγνωρίζει ψάρια, μέσα από το AI for Oceans. Ακολουθήστε τις οδηγίες. Ολοκληρώνοντας την εκπαίδευση και πατώντας FINISH, εμφανίζεται το Πιστοποιητικό Ολοκλήρωσης.
