Συμμετοχή στη δράση Stem Discovery Week 2024

Τι είναι η καμπάνια Stem Discovery Week που τα τελευταία χρόνια το σχολείο μας συμμετέχει ανελλιπώς ενισχύοντας και στηρίζοντας την εκπαίδευση Steam;

Η πιο σημαντική από τις εκστρατείες που διοργανώνει η Scientix, η καμπάνια STEM Discovery , είναι μια κοινή διεθνή πρωτοβουλία που προσκαλεί εκπαιδευτικούς, έργα, οργανισμούς, βιβλιοθήκες, σχολεία, πανεπιστήμια, λέσχες νέων και όλους τους ενδιαφερόμενους φορείς σε όλη την Ευρώπη και τον κόσμο να γιορτάσουν τη σταδιοδρομία και τις σπουδές τους. στους τομείς της STEM.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της εκστρατείας, οι συμμετέχοντες μοιράζονται τις δραστηριότητές τους που σχετίζονται με την εκπαίδευση STEM σε έναν παγκόσμιο χάρτη με δυνατότητα κλικ, από όπου η κοινότητα μπορεί να έχει πρόσβαση και στη συνέχεια να αναπαράγει αυτές τις δραστηριότητες.

Αρχικά ήταν μια εβδομαδιαία εκδήλωση, η καμπάνια STEM Discovery από το 2020 διαρκεί από τις αρχές Φεβρουαρίου έως τα τέλη Απριλίου κάθε έτους .

Join the 2024 STEM Discovery Campaign, a joint international initiative organized by Scientix and the Life Terra project that invites educators, projects, organizations, libraries, schools, universities, youth clubs, and all the interested stakeholders across Europe and the world to celebrate careers and studies in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

We invite everyone to get involved in the 2024 STEM Discovery Campaign by organizing, conducting, and taking part in various STEM activities and featuring them on the STEM Discovery Campaign map, becoming partners, and participating in our competitions as well as other online events!

Have you organized a STEM activity since May 2023? Include it on the map! Sign in to your (free) Scientix account and put your activity on a world map.

 

You want to participate?

Have you organised, conducted and/or participated in STEM activities since May 2023? Are you interested in showcasing any projects or efforts that promote STEM education? Are you a teacher or an organisation working in STEM? All STEM-related actions can be included on the STEM Discovery Campaign map and help spark learners’ interest in STEM and shape their STEM identities!

 

Are you interested in becoming a partner?

Public and privately funded projects, non-governmental and governmental organizations, universities, libraries, youth clubs, companies and schools active in STEM education are welcome to join the 2024 STEM Discovery Campaign as partners. By committing to the SDC24, the partners agree to:

  • Organise and share information about (online) activities and actions in STEM education as part of the STEM Discovery Campaign.
  • Encourage third parties to support and join the initiative by organising STEM activities (online) or actions of their own and share information about them as part of the STEM Discovery Campaign, in particular by marking these activities on the campaign map.
  • Publish on their web page information in support of the STEM Discovery Campaign, hence facilitating an active exchange of information among projects, organisations and schools.

EUROPEANA-implementation of the learning scenario  “Water is Life, Give Life to the Future,” (LS-TR-536)

The chosen learning scenario, Water is life, Give life to the future, motivated me to work with a cohort of 22 students, and aged 11, engaged over two months for three hours per week. The learning scenario seeks to instill a deep understanding of environmental issues while empowering students to take meaningful action within their communities. Through this holistic approach, students will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and motivation to become stewards of the environment and agents of positive change in society.
