The Amvrakikos Gulf, one of the most important wetlands in Greece, is a unique ecosystem with rich biodiversity. As ‘Biodiversity Guardians’, we fully understand our responsibility to protect this precious treasure. The presence of garbage on its beaches is a serious threat to wildlife and water quality. That is why our action was aimed not only at restoring the aesthetics of the area, but also at protecting the delicate balance of the ecosystem.
Our team members gave their best to protect Amvrakiko Gulf. With great enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility, we participated in a beach cleanup, collecting as much trash as we could. Sorting waste was also an important part of our activity as it gave us the opportunity to learn more about recycling and the impact of waste on the environment. Through this experience, we understood the importance of protecting coastal areas and committed to continue to do our part.
This experience made us understand the importance of personal responsibility and group action to protect the environment.
