Our students as Biodiversity Guardians!
As part of the European e-Twinning project “Biodiversity Guardians”, our high school students took meaningful action by cleaning up the public area of Saltini, helping to protect nature and biodiversity in a very practical way.
During the activity, they also discussed how long different types of litter remain in the environment and the long-term impact this has on ecosystems and wildlife. This sparked thoughtful reflection on personal responsibility and sustainable habits.
Additionally, we used the Clean Swell app to record and categorize the types of trash collected, contributing valuable data to global efforts in tracking marine and coastal pollution.
Big congratulations to all students for their enthusiasm, responsibility, and teamwork!
